International Forum on Digital Intelligence Integration and Sustainable Materials Development

The year 2026 marks the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Austria. To further deepen bilateral cooperation in science, technology, and innovation, the Professional Association of Chinese Scientists and Technologists in Austria (PASCO) will host an international forum on Digital Intelligence Integration and Sustainable Materials Development in Vienna on October 28, 2026.

This forum will bring together leading experts and industry representatives to explore cutting-edge advances in digital intelligence technology, advanced materials, intelligent manufacturing, and green and low-carbon development. The event aims to promote the integration of Science, Technology and Innovation resources between China and Austria—and more broadly between China and Europe—and to advance research collaboration, technology transfer, and industrial innovation. We expect about 40 to 50 experts, leaders of science and technology organisations, researchers and company representatives.

Recommended hotel

Flemings Hotel Wien-Stadthalle, Neubaugürtel 26-28, 1070 Vienna, tel. +43 1 41714990. The hotel is about a 7-minute walk from the venue and 5 minutes from Westbahnhof station. The handbook gives a rate of about €105 per night, with breakfast at €24 per person; check-in 14:00, check-out 12:00. You can also book any other hotel.

From the airport

• A taxi or ride-hailing car (Uber, Bolt) takes about 30 minutes from Vienna Airport and costs around €50.
• Airport bus VAL 1 (Vienna Airport Lines) runs to Westbahnhof every 30 minutes. The trip takes about 40 minutes and costs around €10; tickets are sold on site and online. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the stop.
