Central Europe-China Forum on New Energy Vehicles and Autonomous Driving
Co-organised with the Association of Chinese Automotive Engineers in Austria, the Chinese Students and Scholars Association of Graz and others, with support from the Science and Technology Bureau of Pinghu (Zhejiang), the Pinghu Innovation Center and the Berlin Technology Center of the Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University (Zhejiang), and FAW Jiefang Austria Research and Development GmbH. Experts from universities and the automotive industry discussed progress in new energy vehicles and autonomous driving and what it means for future transport.
Inside the Ultrafast Laser Lab at TU Wien
Leng Yuxin, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (Chinese Academy of Sciences), and Lou Zhiqiang, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Industrial Convergence and Innovation Center, visited the ultrafast laser group at the Institute of Photonics, TU Wien, where group head Professor Andrius Baltuška showed them the laboratory. PASCO organised for its members to join the exchange, in which the delegation presented the institute’s research and recruitment plans and the center’s work linking basic research with high-end manufacturing.
